The Format
Teams:
- Multiple teams representing different regions or themes, consisting of a mix of iconic and domestic players.
Matches:
- Each team plays a round-robin format in the group stage.
- Top teams advance to the knockout stages, including qualifiers, eliminators and a final.
Player Categories:
- Legends: Iconic players who have represented India at the international level.
- Stars: Former international players who have made significant contributions at the domestic level.
- Emerging: Legends talents or retired domestic players.
Innovative Rules
Guidelines for Bowlers in the Contest
- Teams must utilize 5 bowlers, each allowed to bowl 4 overs.
Power Play
- Bowling Power Play: First 4 Overs.
- Batting Power Play: 2 Overs Anytime by Legends of the game.
Strategic Time Out Rules
- Scheduled at the end of the 5th Over.
- If a wicket falls in-between the 5th, the on-field umpire may call for an early strategic time out.
Overs Timing
- Each over has a timing of 4 minutes and 30 seconds, with a 30-second grace period.
